Hellman & Friedman

The Hellman & Friedman LLC is a private equity firm headquartered in San Francisco, London and New York. It was founded in 1984.

Hellman & Friedman has been involved in Germany to 19.4% at the Axel Springer AG. They sold their shares in 2008 at the German bank. In addition, it holds a 18.58 % stake in the German Media Partners LP. The latter is a partnership with other fund companies and the media mogul Haim Saban. It holds 100 % interest in the P7S1 Holding LP, which owns a 75.1 % stake in ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG.

Hellman & Friedman bought in 2005 the company DoubleClick, reorganized the structure, added, among other things Falk eSolutions AG (in no connection with the Falk Verlag standing) to add package and then sold in April 2007, the company DoubleClick for $ 3.1 billion of Google Inc.
