Helsinge is a Danish town in the north of the island of Zealand and was up to the municipal reform of 2007 the administrative seat of the homonymous municipality in Frederiksborg Amt. She has since been to the Gribskov municipality.
The municipality was created in 1970 Helsinge from the former municipalities Helsinge - Valby, Ramløse - Annisse and Vejby - Tibirke, as well as the parish Marum and belonged with an area of 145.81 km ² of the largest municipalities in the north of Zealand.

- Mor Gribs Hule (German mother Gribs cave ) is a megalithic site of the Funnel Beaker Culture ( TBK ), the BC was 3500-2800. It is located southeast of Helsinge near the Helsingevej.
- Valby Hegn is a forest area north of Helsinge with numerous archaeological sites.
