Hendrick Aerts

Hendrick Aerts (* 1565-1575; † January 1603 ) was a Flemish painter and draftsman.

About the origin, formation and life of Hendrick Aerts little is known. In the old literature, he was a long run as the Dutch masters of Flemish or French origin. Due to a formerly located in Schwedt on the Oder privately held image that " Henricus a Ryssel " was signed, it was suspected that he might be in Lille ( Ryssel is the Flemish name of Lille) was born. From Hendrick Aerts only a few images have received. The research shows him to less than ten paintings. The earliest reliable work is dated 1600 and the latest work in 1602.
