Henri Debehogne

Henri Debehogne ( born December 30, 1928 in Maillen (now a district of Assesse ); † 6 December 2007, Uccle ) was a Belgian astronomer.

Debehogne worked at the Observatoire Royal de Belgique ( Royal Observatory of Belgium ) in Uccle, specializing in the field of astrometry of comets and asteroids.

He discovered more than 700 asteroids, including the Trojans ( 6090 ) 1989 DJ and ( 65210 ) 2002 EC ( the latter together with Eric Walter Elst ). According to him, the asteroid ( 2359 ) Debehogne was named.
