Henri Hoevenaers
Henri " Rik " Hoevenaers ( born May 1, 1902 in Antwerp, † November 12, 1958 ) was a Belgian cyclist and World Champion.
1924 started Rik Hoevenaers at the Olympics in Paris and won three medals in individual road race he finished second in the team competition also runner-up. In the team pursuit on the track, the Belgian team with Hoevenaers third.
The UCI Road World Championships 1925 in Apeldoorn was Hoevenaers world amateur champion in the road race. In addition, he was three times Belgian champion in this discipline.
Rik Hoevenaers was the father of the equally successful bicycle racer Jos Hoevenaers, among other things, 1959 La Flèche Wallonne won.
