Henri Lebasque

Henri Lebasque ( born September 25, 1865 in Champignà ( department of Maine -et -Loire ); † August 7, 1937 in Le Cannet ) was a French painter of the Post-Impressionism.

Life

Henri Lebasque took the town of Le Cannet in the region Provence- Alpes -Cote d' Azur in the South of France as a summer residence.

From Comte Isaac de Camondo (1851-1911), banker, musician, art collector and patron, he was awarded the contract in 1910 for a portrait of his son, the writer Jean Bertrand. He created also in 1912 a posthumous portrait of Isaac de Camondo.
