Henri Romagnesi

Henri Charles Louis Romagnesi (* February 7, 1912, † by 18 January 1999) was an eminent French mycologist. In his honor, awarded the French Mycological Society annual Romagnesi the price. The focus of his research was to edit the Rötlinge ( Entoloma ) and russulas ( Russula ). His botanical and mycological author abbreviation is " Romagn. ".

Romagnesi became known through his comprehensive monograph on the agaric genus Entoloma or Rhodophyllus, what was her name in the early 20th century.

His second major research focus was the large genus of russulas. In 1967 his well-known monograph Täublings " Les Russules d'Europe et d' Afrique du Nord ", in which he writable almost all the then known European Täublingsarten detail.
