Henry Chinaski

Henry Charles " Hank " Chinaski is the literary alter ego of the American writer Charles Bukowski and starred in many of his poems and novels and movies Barfly and Factotum.

Since Chinaskis biography based on the life Bukowski, it is difficult to draw a line between Chinaski and Bukowski. Chinaski could be considered the secret of Bukowski's literary art of writing: the intimacy and poetry of the author dressed as the bloated ego of a dime novel heroes.

The Czech rock band Chinaski has been named after the character Henry Chinaski.
