Henry Dunning Macleod

Henry Dunning Macleod (* 1821 in Edinburgh, † 1902) was a Scottish political economist.

Life

Macleod was devoted to the first legal career and was initiated as a result of a process by which he was employed in 1854 to a thorough study of the theory of credit. It appeared his " Theory and practice of banking" (1856, 4th edition 1883, 2 ​​vols ).
