Henry Gee

Henry Gee (born 1962 in London, England) is an English scientist in the fields of paleontology and evolutionary biology and author.

Life

Gee received his Bachelor of Science at the University of Leeds and his doctorate at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. There he played in his spare time at the keyboard for a jazz band.

Since 1987 he has worked in the field of biology of the British journal Nature and is now editor in chief. In recent decades, he was the author of several works on the subjects of development history of mankind and the animal world. He is also editor of the official journal of the Tolkienisten, Mallorn.
