Henry H. Hathorn

Henry Harrison Hathorn ( born November 28, 1813 in Greenfield, New York, † February 20, 1887 in Saratoga Springs, New York ) was an American politician. Between 1873 and 1877 he represented the State of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Henry Harrison Hathorn was born during the British - American War in Greenfield in Ulster County. He attended community schools and graduated from the public schools in Greenfield. Hartshorn was the discoverer of the " Hartshorn Mineral Spring ". He went 1839-1849 by Saratoga Springs commercial transactions. Between 1853 and 1856, and 1862-1865 he was sheriff in Saratoga County. He paused for the post of Supervisor of Saratoga Springs in the years 1858, 1860, 1866 and 1867. Politically, he was a member of the Republican Party.

In the congressional elections of 1872 for the 43rd Congress Hathorn in the 19th electoral district of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Elizur H. Prindle on March 4, 1873. In 1874 he was a candidate in the 20th Election District of New York for a congress seat. After a successful election, he entered on March 4, 1875 on the succession of David Wilber. He retired after March 3, 1877 from the Congress.

After his conference time he went to the bottled water business. He died on February 20, 1887 in Saratoga Springs and was then buried in Green Ridge Cemetery.
