Henry Pettitt

Henry Alfred Pettitt (* 1848, † December 24, 1893 in London) was a British actor and writer.

Pettitt was known as the author of many successful burlesque, which he founded written in collaboration with Augustus Harris and George Sims. Many of his pieces were set to music by Meyer Lutz.

With around 45 years Henry Pettitt died on 24 December 1893 in London. He found on the Brompton Cemetery ( Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea) his final resting place.
