Heralding - The Fireblade is the fourth studio album by the German - Icelandic Viking Metal band Falkenbach and was released on 25 November 2005 via Napalm Records. It appeared außderm a limited digipak version with a different cover, as well as the bonus tracks Gjallar ( 08:10 ). Furthermore, there appeared a LP ( No Colours Records via ), limited to 1000 copies in the first 300 copies on Clear Vinyl as the remaining were published as black vinyl. They also contain the bonus tracks Gjallar.
In the album Heralding - The Fireblade Vratyas worked again with the same studio musicians as in the previous album Ok nefna tysvar ty.
The album was intended as a debut album, but was postponed due to studio technical problems. The album contains more songs than were provided in the original album, and has a slightly different name ( Fireblade ).
