Here and Now is the seventh studio album by the Canadian rock band Nickelback. It was published in the German-speaking area on November 18, 2011. It is the successor of 2008 brought out Dark Horse.

The album was released exclusively in the German-speaking area on 18 November 2011; the rest of the world, it was not published until three days later. The lyrics were written by vocalist Chad Kroeger. As on the previous albums are on Here and Now both songs that tend toward pop-rock ( Lullaby ), as well as Hard Rock Singles ( Bottoms Up ). A world tour began on 14 April 2012. Acted as support bands in the U.S. My Darkest Days, Bush and Seether with. In Europe, the band went like on the last album with Daughtry on tour in Australia with Jackson Firebird.

Singles

At the same time the singles When We Stand Together and Bottoms Up was released on September 27. On 10 November, appeared exclusively through iTunes This Means War. Towards the end of November, and Trying Not to Love You was played in the radio.

Reviews

The critics fell compared to the previous albums similar. Allmusic awarded 3.5 stars out of 5. The criticism of laut.de was positive: ... because one has to admit the guys around singer Chad Kroeger: What they do, they do it right. Also, you will not shake the feeling that one was dealing with two completely different bands, if you compare with Lullaby This Means War. However, criticizing the side because of these differences also that the four Canadian again desperately searched for their own identity. Metacritic awarded 57 out of 100 points based on 8 reviews.
