Hermann Lux (footballer)

Hermann Lux ( born September 20, 1893 in Berlin, † January 3, 1962 ) was a German national football team.

The Berlin stepped in footballing terms for the first mail at Union 08 Kiel in appearance, before he was able to make national attention to himself at Union Oberschoeneweide. In 1923 he moved with Union into the final of the German Cup, where the Berlin however subject against Hamburger SV 0:3. In 1924 he completed his first of three internationals in Berlin against Sweden. Positive for his nomination resulted from the fact that players of the 1st FC Nuremberg and SpVgg Fürth did not want to stand together on the court and thus lacked the main cast of the national team. His career was then Lux at Tennis Borussia Berlin bar.

In the special edition of Kicker "100 Years of German internationals " Hermann Lux was incorrectly listed as the oldest German national team. This was mistakenly assumed to be year of birth 1883. Also in the second in the list, Erich Pohl a false birth year was based on using 1884 instead of 1894. In fact, Lothar Matthaus was the most oldest player of the German national team.
