HermÃn Negrón Santana
Hermin Negrón Santana ( born November 10, 1937 in Naranjito, † 10 March, 2012 Caparra Heights, Guaynabo ) was a Puerto Rican clergyman and Roman Catholic Auxiliary Bishop of San Juan de Puerto Rico.
Life
Hermin Negrón Santana, who came from a family with 12 children, occurred after visiting the Academia Santa Teresita in the diocesan seminary. He received on 30 May 1969, the ordination of Cardinal Luis Aponte Martínez.
Pope John Paul II appointed him on 30 June 1981 as Titular Bishop of Gegi and auxiliary bishop in the Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of San Juan de Puerto Rico, Luis Cardinal Aponte Martínez, on 7 September 1981; Were co-consecrators Enrique Manuel Hernández Rivera, Bishop of Caguas, and Rafael Grovas Felix, retired bishop of Caguas. Many years he was secretary and economist in the Puerto Rican Episcopal Conference.
