Hermine Stindt

Hermione Stindt ( born January 3, 1888 in Bremerhaven, † February 19, 1974 in Hannover) was a German swimmer.

Hermione Stindt of Hannover 92 was the only German swimmer who was eliminated in the 100 meters freestyle in the first round at the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912. The German 4 x 100 meter freestyle relay in the cast Waltraud Dressel, Louise Otto, Hermione Stindt and Grete Rosenberg reached in the final 11.8 seconds after the British Olympic champions the goal, but was 12.4 seconds ahead of third-placed Austrians.
