Herpy-l'Arlésienne
Herpy - l'Arlésienne is a commune with 209 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Ardennes department in the Champagne- Ardenne region. It belongs administratively to the district of Rethel, and the Canton of Château- Porcien and is a member of the Association of Municipalities Plaines du Porcien.
Geography
The community is located approximately 30 kilometers northeast of Reims in the valley of the Aisne. Neighboring municipalities are:
- Condé- lès- Herpy the north and east,
- Château- Porcien in the southeast,
- Blanzy la Salonnaise in the south,
- Gomont in the southwest and
- Saint- Germainmont in the northwest.
Has the river Aisne and the parallel Ship Canal Canal des Ardennes on the southern boundary of the municipality. The most important transport links, the department road D926 which connects the village to Condé- lès- Herpy and Gomont.
