Herrljunga

Herrljunga is a place in the Swedish province of Västra Götaland County and the historic province of Västergötland. It lies about 35 kilometers northeast of the city of Alingsås and is the capital of the municipality of the same name.

Herrljunga is a railway junction where the Älvsborgsbana the Västra stambana and crosses the railway line Gårdsjö - Håkantorp connecting to the trunk line. In addition, the place for the apple sparkling wine produced here is known, the Herrljunga cider.

West of the town is the burial ground of Nycklabacken.
