Heykel Megannem

Heykel Megannem (Arabic هيكل مقنم; born February 28, 1977 in Moknine / Tunisia) is a Tunisian handball player. He is 1.88 m tall.

Megannem, who plays for Qatari club Lekhwiya Sports Club Doha and ran aground on the Tunisian men's national handball team is mostly used as a back center of the room.

Heykel Megannem began with the Handball Game in his hometown Moknine. At 18, he was discovered by top club Espérance Sportive de Tunis and contracted. With Tunis he was repeatedly Tunisian league and cup. With the national team, he recommended himself for European clubs; In 2002 it undertook the French first division side SC Sélestat handball. Megannem played 272 caps for the Tunisian men's national handball team. With his country he was in 1998, 2002 and 2005 African champions. In the Men's Handball World Championship for Men 2005 in his own country, he finished with Tunisia fourth place at the World Cup 2007 in Germany but he left in the main group and finished at the end of the 11th Place. In summer 2012, he participated in the Olympic Games in London.
