Hidemaro Fujibayashi

Hidemaro Fujibayashi (藤 林 秀 麿jap, Fujibayashi Hidemaro ) is a Japanese game developer at Nintendo. Previously, developers at Capcom, Fujibayashi is a planner and director of the series The Legend of Zelda.

Work

Prior to his career as a game developer Fujibayashi designed Japanese haunted houses. In 1995 it to the big Japanese video game developer Capcom. Initially he worked as a planner. Then he took as a member of Capcom Production Studio 1 his director debut with the N64 game Magical Tetris Challenge.

At this time, Capcom started a strong collaboration with Nintendo, which is why Capcom could develop offshoot of Nintendo's famous game series The Legend of Zelda. Fujibayashi became the director of such projects; There were four Capcom-/Nintendo-Zelda-Spiele with his participation.

These four titles were created in cooperation of the Capcom Studios Flagship with the Nintendo Entertainment Analysis & Development Division ( EAD). After development, the last of those four titles left Fujibayashi Capcom and Nintendo employee and was assigned to the EEAS. In May 2004, the EEAS began to develop a new Zelda spin-off for the Nintendo DS. Fujibayashi joined the team later on as assistant director. Immediately thereafter began work on a Zelda Adapter for Wii. The development lasted for five years, and in 2011 appeared the game as The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Nintendo producer called Nintendo largest internal production of all time. Fujibayashi was a director and thus leader of a development team with over 200 participants.
