Hieraaetus
Bonelli's eagle ( Hieraaetus fasciatus )
The Bonelli's Eagle ( Hieraaetus ) are a genus of birds of prey in the family Accipitridae ( Accipitridae ). The genus includes six species that occur in tropical Africa to temperate regions of Eurasia and Australia. The genus is by molecular genetic studies are not a monophyletic taxon, the species of the genus are now therefore usually assigned to the genus Aquila.
