Hietzing (Vienna U-Bahn)

The station Hietzing the Vienna U -Bahn line U4 is located in the 13th district of Vienna, Hietzing, on the border of the 14th district, Penzing, and is combined with the traffic junction Kennedy bridge.

Location and special features

The station with two side platforms extending incision along the river Wien Schönbrunn Palace and the road between the Kennedy Bridge and the downstream former imperial Hofpavillon. The conversion of the light rail operation on subway operation reached the station Hietzing on 31 August 1981, when the section of the station Meidling main road here was changed to U4 - operation. The Hofpavillon
