Higa Peechin

Matsu Higa ( bl. 1700 ) lived on Hamahiga, Kingdom of Ryukyu (now part of Uruma, Okinawa Prefecture). He was one of the first and most influential martial artists of Karate and Kobudo.

Matsu Higa was the teacher of Takahara Peichin was the then taught Sakugawa Kanga, the teacher of Matsumura Sokon.
