Help! Wedding! - The worst week of my life is a German -language comedy television series of the director Isabel Kleefeld, based on the BBC series The Worst Week of My Life. The series was broadcast on Friday evenings Sat.1 from 13 April 2007.

Action

Everything that can go wrong goes wrong is the motto of the series. The comedy series, which is based essentially on embarrassment and failures, told the seven days that lead to the marriage of businessman Joachim Witte and his fiancée Anna von Schanz, the daughter of Judge Albrecht von Schanz. This yields some embarrassing situations arise: Judith, a work colleague, with Joachim four years earlier drunk had a one -night stand, wants to prevent his marriage; Joachim accidentally kills the dog of his future in-laws, makes Anna's grandmother hospitalized and loses the wedding ring ( a family heirloom ). At the end of the week, Joachim and Anna marry despite the many mishaps that have befallen the well-meaning but accident- inclined groom.

International versions

The British original The Worst Week of My Life ( The Worst Week of My Life) consists of two squadrons and a three-part Christmas special edition, The Worst Christmas of My Life says ( The worst Christmas of my life ). The series was broadcast in the period from 2004 to 2006 by BBC One. Ben Miller (known from Johnny English) played the role of Howard Steel ( in the German version: Joachim Witte ), his fiancée, Mel Cook, was by Sarah Alexander ( known from the series Coupling) shown. The roles of parents took Alison Steadman and Geoffrey Whitehead.

As of September 22, 2008 CBS beamed the American version under the title of Worst Week, which is seen as a German -speaking Original Air Date January 2, 2011, on Sat.1.
