Hill Harper

Hill Harper ( born May 17, 1966 in Iowa City, Iowa as Francis Harper ) is an American actor.

Life

Harper is the son of the psychiatrist Henry Harper and his wife, the anesthetist Marilyn Hill. Hence his stage name. In 1993, he starred in the role of Aaron in the U.S. sitcom Married with Children. Harper is a graduate of Brown University and Harvard, before he turned to acting. His role in the U.S. series " The Handler " earned him a 2004 nomination for a Golden Satellite Award. He also plays theater and is a member of the Boston Black Falk's Theater Company. On the big screen Harper was among others in Steel Man ( 1997), Spike Lee's Game of Life ( 1998), The Nephew (1998) and The Skulls - to see all power in the world ( 2000). He also appeared in the U.S. series CSI: NY seen. In 2006, he took a supporting role in The Breed.

Hill Harper and U.S. President Barack Obama were classmates at Harvard Law School. In January 2008, Harper was part of Yes We Can, a music video that supported Obama in the primary campaigns. In addition, Hill Harper Member of the Obama for America National Finance Committee.
