Himantura
Himantura undulata
The genus Himantura belongs to the family of stingrays ( Dasyatidae ). Most species of the genus live in the western Pacific or Indian Ocean.
Features
The species of the genus have a wide variety of morphology and are likely polyphyletically. From other stingrays, they differ mainly by the absence of skin folds on the tail.
