Himinbjörg

Himinbjörg ( aisl.: " Himmelberg, sky castle " ) is in Norse mythology one of the gods palaces in Asgard and the residence of the god Heimdall. Himinbjörg located on the edge of Asgard, right on top of the rainbow bridge Bifrost.

" Himinbjörg, is the eighth, where Heimdall is Exercise of Holy Orders instead. The guardian of the gods drinks in blissful home As blessed the sweet mead "

It is noteworthy that in the Vita of St. Gallus Himilinberc is called. The Holy went with a local guide in the jungle, where the two men were threatened by female demons that eventually drove Gallus. Later, the two men heard how the demons from Himilinberc defendant down and asked if the stranger (Gallus ) would still be there.
