Hind Laroussi

Hind Laroussi Tahiri ( born December 3, 1984 in Gouda), artist name, Hind, is a Dutch singer.

Biography

The daughter of a Moroccan and Dutch Gouda grew up in and now lives in Amsterdam.

Career

In early 2002, she participated in the Soundmixshow on Dutch television, where they had great success and reached the final. Her debut album Around the World from 2003 contains pop and R & B pieces, but is also influenced by Portuguese and Arabic music. More than 40,000 recordings were sold, the album reached Gold status. In 2004 she received the Edison Award for best Dutch new singer. In 2005 they released their second album, Halfway Home, which she calls due to the Arab influence on the music as Arabpop.
