Hinnerk (magazine)

Under the name hinnerk a gay city magazine in Hamburg published monthly since November 1993.

The hinnerk is free to get in Hamburg, covers content from Hamburg and has a circulation of about 24,000 copies (IVW Q2/2013 ).

The booklet was developed in 1992 by the Hamburg student Werner Hinz and Peter Burkhard Knopke and first appeared in the Berlin Magnus -Verlag. After its bankruptcy in 1995 hinnerk appeared in Hamburg hinnerk - Verlag; Today it appears in GSL Media UG. Editors were Werner Hinz Peter ( 1993-1994 ), Burkhard Knopke ( 1994-2000 ), Jörg Rowohlt (2000 to 2003) and Stefan Mielchen (2003 to 2011). Until May 2013 Christian Ewert took over this task.

The business premises are located since 2011 in the paddock in Hamburg- St. George.

Along with the magazines Leo ( Munich), Victory Column (Berlin), FLASH (Cologne) and FRESH (Ruhrgebiet / Dusseldorf ) hinnerk formed until May 2013 under the name Publigayte a composite gay capital Magazine.

In May 2013 blu took over from Berlin that appear on the Hinnerk -Verlag Magazine Hinnerk and Leo.
