Hiroko Matsumoto

Hiroko Berghauer, born Matsumoto (* 1936, † 20 June 2003 ) was a Japanese fashion model.

Hiroko Matsumoto in 1960 discovered by French fashion designer Pierre Cardin during a visit to Japan. When his mistress, she followed him to Paris and works as the first Japanese model (including under the name Hiroko of Tokyo ) for a French fashion brand. 1967 married Henry Matsumoto Berghauer, a manager of fashion company Pierre Cardin.
