Hirschroda is a district of the municipality Balgstädt in Burgenland district, in Saxony -Anhalt.
Geography
Hirschroda between Halle ( Saale) and Weimar at the foothills of the fin.
History
For the first time the city in 1206 was mentioned as Heroldisroda documented.
On 1 July 2009, the formerly independent municipality Hirschroda was incorporated into Balgstädt.
Policy
Last honorary mayor was elected on June 12, 1994 Liane Prömper.

Blazon: ". In a green on green with two oak leaves with acorn occupied silver sign foot left border silver stag " (Note: In heraldry side directions are given a mirror image. )
The coat of arms refers to a previous image seal showing a deer, as well as the naturelle surroundings of the village with high oak trees. It was designed by Jörg Kommunalheraldiker Mantzsch in 2006 and led to the approval process. The colors of this place are white-green.

The Romanesque church with wooden pulpit altar from 1785.
Economy and infrastructure
North of the village runs the federal highway 176 which leads from Weissenfels and Sömmerda.
