Generally

Hit radio station Ö3 is one of the three nationwide broadcast radio programs of the ORF ( Austrian Broadcasting Corporation ). It is the radio with the biggest coverage in Austria.

History

The radio station Ö3 was in 1967, when the new Broadcasting Act came into force in Austria, founded. This was set in 1964 by a referendum against the proportional radio of the Austrian population. The ORF general director Gerd Bacher took Ernst Grissemann to Vienna, and entrusted him with the construction of the entertainment radio stations in the reformed ORF. Ö3 - own events

The new Austrian

" The new Austrian" was a project from the Hit Radio Ö3 to promote Austrian musicians.
