Hjúki and Bil

Education in Norse mythology was the daughter and sister of Wildfinnr Hiuki.

The moon god Mani took Bil, along with her brother Hiuki when both were gone by water to the fountain Byrgir and the heavy buckets carried on their shoulders, out of pity for himself, where they, as the story goes, even from Earth with their bucket rod and the bucket can see. (Moon Patch )

Bil is the female version of the story of the Man in the Moon, she hangs etymologically with the Bilwis mentioned being together, perhaps derived from it.
