HK Bosna

HK Bosna is an ice hockey club from the district Centar Sarajevo, Bosnia - Herzegovina. His home club is the USD Bosna ( Univerzitetsko Sportsko Društvo Bosna, dt " University Sports Federation of Bosnia ").

In the league, the hockey team leads the nickname Lisice (Eng. " foxes ").

History

The club was founded on 11 September 1980. In 1985 the team was promoted to the first Yugoslav league where she could also claim. The best result was achieved in the season 1986/1987 with a fifth place (out of nine teams ). Due to financial problems, the club moved in 1988 from the league back.

Due to the destruction of the Olympic Hall Zetra during the Bosnian war game operation in 1992 has been set. After the founding of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Bosnian - Herzegovinian Hockey Association of HK Bosna took part in the Bosnian - Herzegovinian Hockey League.
