The HK Kranjska Gora (also HK HIT Casino Kranjska Gora ) was a Slovenian ice hockey club from Kranjska Gora, who played in the Slovenian Hockey League until 2006 and was subsequently dissolved.

History

The club was founded in 1961 and qualified as a year later for participation in the Yugoslav Ice Hockey League. This top division of the country belonged to the club with two brief interruptions until 1988, before financial problems prevented further participation. Due to this situation, the club entered into a partnership with the neighboring HK Jesenice, for one operation as a farm team for young scientists.

From the 1996/97 season, the club presented again a first team that took part in the match operation of the Slovenian Hockey League. 2003 was the association with the HIT casinos that are located in Kranjska Gora, gain a new main sponsor, so that the club was renamed to HK HIT Casino Kranjska Gora. During the 1998/99 season of HK Jesenice had financial problems what its management moved to start his own club for youth work, today's HD mladi Jesenice.

After the 2005/ 06 season made ​​the HK HIT Casino Kranjska Gora game operation definitively and was dissolved.
