HK Vitebsk

The HK Vitebsk (Russian ХК Витебск ) is a Belarusian ice hockey club from Vitebsk, who plays in the Belarusian Extraliga. The club was founded in 1959 and plays its home matches at the Ice Palace in Vitebsk, which offers 1,900 spectators.

History

The HK Vitebsk was founded in 1959. The team first participated in the 1994/95 season in the game operation of the Belarusian Extraliga, in which it regularly took in the subsequent period. From 2001 to 2004 the team also participated in the East European Hockey League.
