HMS Brilliant

HMS Brilliant was the name of seven ships of the Royal Navy:

  • HMS Brilliant ( 1729 ) was a sloop, which was put into service in 1729.
  • HMS Brilliant ( 1757) was a 36 - gun ship of the 5th grade, which was launched in 1757 and was sold in 1776.
  • HMS Brilliant ( 1779), a 28 - gun ship of the 6th class, was launched in 1779 and scrapped in 1811.
  • HMS Brilliant ( 1814), a 36 - gun ship 5th grade, which had run from 1814 batch, was renamed in 1889 in Briton and sold in 1908.
  • HMS Brilliant ( 1891) was a 1891 from the stack overflowed light cruiser Apollo class of 1918 was sunk as a block ship at Ostend.
  • HMS Brilliant ( H84 ), a destroyer of the B-Class has been sold into service in 1930 and 1947.
  • HMS Brilliant ( F90 ), a frigate of the Broadsword class, was placed in service in 1978 and sold in 1996 to Brazil, where it was renamed in Dodsworth.
