HMS Glamorgan (D19)

The HMS Glamorgan ( D19 ) was a British destroyer of the County class, which was built at Vickers Armstrong in Newcastle upon Tyne. It is named after the Welsh county of Glamorgan. During the Falklands War the ship in an attack by an Exocet fired from a truck was heavily damaged. 13 soldiers were killed and several wounded part. Repair measures were still at sea.
