The HMS Sentinel ( P256 ) was a submarine of the British Royal Navy.

History

The Sentinel (English: guard ) was a boat of the fourth contract section of the British S- class. This is also referred to as a contract section Subtle class. It was launched at Scott 's Shipbuilding & Engineering Co. in the West of Scotland Greenock on 15 November 1943 expired on July 27, 1945 from the pile and was put into service by the Royal Navy on 28 December 1945.

The HMS Sentinel was sold on 28 February 1962 on the scrapping and then canceled in Gillingham.
