HMS Volage

HMS Volage were called six ships of the Royal Navy:

  • HMS Volage (1798 ), a ship of the line of the sixth grade with 22 cannons. It was previously a French privateer which was captured in 1798 by HMS Melampus ( 1785 ), scrapping: 1804.
  • HMS Volage (1807 ), a ship of the line of the sixth grade with 22 cannons, launching: 1807 Sell: 1818.
  • HMS Volage (1825 ), a ship of the line of the sixth class of 28 guns Launched: 1825 1847 converted to a research vessel scrapping: 1874
  • HMS Volage (1869 ), a corvette, was as HMS Cerberus but ordered in 1867 even before the launch (1869 ) renamed Scrapping: 1904.
  • HMS Volage should be a destroyer of the Admiralty W class name, the order was withdrawn in 1918.
  • HMS Volage (1943 ), a destroyer of the Admiralty V class, launched 1943, 1951 converted into a frigate for submarine hunting, sale: 1972.
