HNLMS De Ruyter
According to the Dutch Admiral Michiel de Ruyter several ships were named in the Netherlands over the centuries:
Merchant ships
- Admiraal de Ruyter (ship, 1749) - a return ship of the VOC
- De Ruyter (1938 ) - a Dutch cargo ship from 1938
- De Ruyter (1962 ) - a tug of 1962, since 2001 in Spain in action
- De Ruyter (1975 ) - a river towboat from 1975, in 1995 sold to South Korea
Warships
- Admiraal de Ruyter (ship, 1778) - a battleship, sunk after a heavy storm in the Caribbean Antigua ago
- Admiraal de Ruyter (ship, 1808) - a sailing ship of the line, 1818 scrapped
- Zr. Ms. De Ruyter (1853 ) - a sailing ship of the line, retired in 1874
- Zr. Ms. De Ruyter (1885 ) - a screw steamer, 1900 sold for scrapping
- Hr. Ms. De Ruyter (1902 ) - a tank ship, 1924 sold for scrapping
- Hr. Ms. De Ruyter (1926 ) - a torpedo-boat destroyers in 1934 in Hr. Ms. Van Ghent renamed
- Hr. Ms. De Ruyter (1935 ) - a light cruiser, sunk on 28 February 1942 during the Battle of the Java Sea
- Hr. Ms. De Ruyter (C -801 ) - a cruiser De Zeven - Provinciën - Class, sold in 1972 to Peru
- Hr. Ms. De Ruyter ( F806 ) - a guided missile frigate
- Hr. Ms. De Ruyter ( F804 ) - an air defense and command frigate of De Zeven - Provinciën - class, which was placed formally on 22 April 2004 in the Netherlands Navy in service. The ship carries the NATO code F 804
