Hobart Bay is a census -designated place in the panhandle of the U.S. state of Alaska. In the census census of 2000, three residents were determined in Hobart Bay. Thus, Hobart Bay is one of nine cities in the United States, each with only three people. 1889 was Lt. Commander Mansfield, a member of the United States Navy, Hobart Bay its name. The city had initially the function of logging camps.
