The station Hofheim (Taunus ) is the station of the Hessian county town of Hofheim am Taunus. He was put into operation on 15 October 1877, and is run by the S- Bahn Rhein -Main and regional trains of the Deutsche Bahn AG ( DB) served. Location

Hofheim is in the tariff area of the Rhine -Main Transport Association ( RMV). In the vicinity of the station is also the seat of the RMV. The station is served by trains of the S- Bahn Rhein -Main and DB Regio AG.

Rail traffic

In Hofheim Bahnhof S- Bahn line S2 S-Bahn Rhein -Main holds. This turned into a base clock of 30 minutes, which is compressed in the peak traffic times on a 15 -minute intervals.
