Hohbäumle

The Hohbäumle is 712 m above sea level. NN - after 30 km north-northwest gelegeneren buses ( 767 m) - the second highest peak in the district of Biberach outside of the Swabian Alb.

Location

The collection is located on the boundary of Eberhardzell, one kilometer north of Füramoos, above the county road 7568 to Fischbach.

On clear days you can see from this vantage point, the Zugspitze, Santis, buses and the Gothic cathedral. The weather station south recommends the mountain as a lookout at Foehn, next to the Black Ridge and others.

The mountain is surrounded by the headwaters of two rivers. Southeast below the mountain the Füramooser Ried is the origin of Rottum, which flows into the Danube. Southwest of the mountain is the source of the Umlach, a river, which flows 20 km in the crack and then into the Danube.
