Signs near the head stubble
The High stubble head, regionally usually only called stubble head, is a 566 m high mountain in the Palatinate Forest ( Rhineland -Palatinate). It is located 3 km north of the town of Lambrecht.
Together with the Drachenfels ( 577 m ) in the northwest and the rod mountain ( 496 m ) in the east forms the stubble head the watershed between the catchment areas of two Palatinate Rhine tributaries of Speyer Bach ( south ) and the Isenach ( north ). On stubble head spring the two longest inlets of the Mußbachs, who later in the left tributary of Speyer Bach, the Rehbach, opens.
2 km northeast of the head stubble is high Wildlife Park Palatinate Park, which a well-developed asphalt road (8 km) can be reached from guard home from.
