History

The cabin of the first category had their last appearance until it was demolished since 1925. From the perspective of the Alpine Club A replacement was necessary because the built in 1893 and extended through various renovations and additions Höllentalanger hut does not substantially meet today's requirements for fire protection, workplace regulations or the hygiene requirements of food law correspond. Since the late 1990s, the replacement building is planned with extended accommodation capacities and modern, environmentally friendly infrastructure, which will be realized in 2014 and whose cost is estimated at about 4.5 million euros. The replacement building - with an unconventional pitch roof instead of a gable roof - contributes to the large avalanche danger in the valleys and the insurance legal requirements associated as well as the extensive regulatory requirements regarding fire safety, workplace regulations and the hygienic requirements of food law bill. As part of the complete demolition to the blockhouse, the " first cell " of the hut, are spent in the garden of the Alpine Museum Munich.
