Höllentalspitzen

F6

The hell valley peaks are three peaks in the Wettersteingebirge near Garmisch -Partenkirchen. They rise from the Pale comb -called ridge that runs from the Zugspitze to the east and separates the hell valley in the north of Reintal in the south. The Zugspitze is closest to the inside Höllentalspitze, 2741 m, followed by the Middle Höllentalspitze 2743 m and the exterior Höllentalspitze, 2720 m.

The summit can be reached only by experienced mountaineers. Usually they are exceeded at a celebration of the Jubiläumsgrates. The " Jubigrat " called Mountaineers circles in the transition from the Zugspitze Höllentalbahn tips and Vollkarspitze to Grießkarscharte and on to Alpine peaks and requires the mastery of the third level of difficulty of the UIAA scale. This long lasting excess can be canceled only by the equally difficult Brunntalgrat which branches near the summit of the Inner Höllentalspitze south to Knorrhütte in Reintal. Is the Höllentalgrathütte, an unstaffed small bothy for emergency Between the Middle and Outer Höllentalspitze.
