Hollier

The Hollier, also known as Vincent Hollier, was an American automobile, which of the Lewis Spring and Axle Company in Jackson ( Michigan) and Chelsea ( Michigan) was built from 1915 to 1921. The company was led by Charles Lewis, the former president of the Jackson Automobile Company.

Originally there was the Hollier with a V8 engine -house production. In 1917 there was the car with a six-cylinder in-line engine of the case. It only open bodies were delivered. In the early years created 3,000 copies per year.

1918, Lewis production of the eight-cylinder engine set, since due to lack of standing from the First World War resulting bottlenecks enough resources available. In 1921 he decided to rename the company in Hollier Automobile Company, but this change came too late. In the same year he had to stop production.
