Hollywood Dream – The Ride

Hollywood Dream: The Ride (Japaneseハリウッド· ·ザ·ドリームライド, Hariuddo Dorimu Sat Raido ) at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka Japan is a steel roller coaster model from hyper coaster manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard, opened on 9 March 2007. The special feature of the web is a built-in sound system, which is located in the headrests. The passenger can choose one of five songs that he wants to listen to while driving. The selection is done individually by corresponding five buttons on the safety bars.

Currently, the following songs are available:

  • Bon Jovi Homebound Train
  • Eminem Lose Yourself
  • The Beatles Get Back
  • Dreams Come True Osaka Lover
  • Kobukuro The Wing Named You

After the train was pulled up to 44 m high, semi-closed lift hill, the music starts playing and the train leaves the first drop down. The course is held as a classic " out-and -back" with slopes and hills. The two direction changes take place in a Horseshoe element and a double helix.

At the trains 250 LEDs are mounted on each car, which at night are lit at different distances and change their brightness. Through the illumination and the placement of the track right next to, or above the main road of the park it is interesting to spectators.

The four trains of Hollywood Dream: The Ride each have nine cars. In each car four people ( a number with four people) can take place. To increase capacity, the web has a dual charging station, reaching a maximum of 2000 people per hour.

Passengers must be at least 132 cm tall to ride must. The sound system and lighting are powered by built- in trains accumulators, which are loaded into the stations.
